Welcome to Hubpages! Welcome to Tim’s hubpages profile. You have discovered a great place to learn about writing and how to write. Yeah, his real name is Tim. tsmog is a moniker of sorts. That is a nickname, which evolved from a couple chat sites where he is known as og. It is registered at those sites too.

The name has several meanings depending on his network of writing friends. To most it means old guy. Others have attributed it to ‘ol gangsta and close writing friends and chat buddies opera ghost, since he has a habit of dropping by at the oddest of times. Some call that synchronicity.

tsm is pretty common really and simple. The letters comprise his given name’s initials for Timothy S. Mitchell. So, og follows tsm becoming tsmog. Well, you are probably asking about writing now. Let’s begin learning about writing here at hubpages.

One cool thing about writing here at hubpages is you get to have an avatar. At this writing site Tim’s avatar is a male black chinned hummingbird. His name is Fred, Fred the hummingbird. They have known each other for a few years now. Fred the hummingbird hasn't migrated since arriving. You can find them at dawn chatting at Fred’s hummingbird feeder and Tim with coffee in hand. They have been known to follow each other around during the morning in the hummingbird and butterfly garden.
