Is It Do I Have To Or Right-On

OMG, I have to write a bio (or profile). What do I say? Who is my audience? Why am I here? I just want to write! I don’t want to reveal anything or I want to scream to the world here I am. Here we go, buckle up, check the radar, all systems are go - go - go , , ,

You Have to Start, Somewhere, Someplace, Sometime , , ,10 - 9 - 8 - 7 , , , We Have Launch

Let's Make a List

Tell them who I ‘really’ am. O geesh, just who am I anyway – just little ‘ol me, right? Or, is it "Hey, I've done this or that, and I bet someone, somewhere will learn from it something.

  1. School
  2. I love gardening, like to cook, have bunches of stories about my family, and there was that time that___________________.
  3. I served in the Military
  4. I went to college
  5. I'm married, have kids, so I know about budgeting, menu planning, organization, counseling, guidance counseling, cheerleading, car repair, economics, or I've built homes, can fix a leaky faucet, coached, counseled, wrote songs, written poetry, (the list is as big as your dream and dreams grow and grow and grow , , ,
  6. I've been dad of the year 6 years in a row
  7. I'm a favorite Uncle
  8. I'm a big sister

Remember the toughest critic out there is yourself. Most of all your Best Friend is yourself. And they both care about You. Listen to the whispers in the wind. Then, smile and have fun, fun, fun , , ,

Questions

Well, don’t fret. Freud called it the reality principal. We called it “reality check.” The whole point to all that psycho-babble is you are real, you have value, you have self-worth, and you have a story you desire to tell, so tell the story! Freud didn't know diddly about social stuff anyway.

Don't Compete, Achieve - Let Destiny Help Along the Way

The story will say much more than the profile in a lot of cases. Remember anything you write there is always a story to the reader. It comes down to odds, probability and stuff like that. So, with your bio look at it like this, which is allegorical thinking, you are at a meeting for the first time on a hobby you like – gardening, cooking, guitar playing, playing cards, etc. Just pretend and say no more than you are comfortable with. Think of Superbowl Sunday or the little league game. Make the bio green or flexible and change it up as you grow.

[Taken from Wikipedia Allegory is a demonstrative form of representation explaining meaning other than the words that are spoken. Allegory communicates its message by means of symbolic figures, actions or symbolic representation. Allegory is generally treated as a figure of rhetoric, but an allegory does not have to be expressed in language: briefly, an allegory is a device used to present an idea, principle or meaning, which can be presented in literary form, such as a poem or novel, or in visual form, such as in painting or drawing.]

The Nitty-Gritty of it all

Historically Correct

My Third Bio is archived, until I can figure out how to publish it. Receiving a duplicate content notice it is not available now. What is a duplicate content notice. I am glad you asked. Go to this link or to the Hubpages Learning Center.to discover about it.

I didn’t save the first two, since I re-wrote them on the profile page. Now I do everything in MS Word and then copy / pasting into the profile builder or hub builder. I can go into what my purpose was, yet the purpose, now, is to offer a contrast with my present profile. Sharing a moment, I go at things kinda’ slow sometimes. I studied Hubpages for about 3 months before doing much on it. But, I lost out on being a Hub Nugget because of that. What is a hubnugget? I'm Glad you asked. Go to the link "being a Hub Nugget" and discover from fellow hubbers what it is and their experiences. So, don’t make my mistake – write something and publish it – get going, now – smile! You may be the next recipient of a hubnugget award!!

Just whip up a quick howdy type of profile and get going on a hub idea. GO GREEN! We wish to read your hub soon! We are reading enthusiasts. We hunger and thirst to read every spare moment. We learn from each and every one of you something. Write it down, change it later, accept critique spoken or silent, as a learning instrument. Write a poem to your love, a short story for your child, a letter of appreciation to your mom or dad, a testimony to that special person who inspired or taught you something.

‘Cause when it comes down to the nitty-gritty of it your work is your bio or profile or character.

Write it First, Get it on there, Be Critical Later as You Learn

If you do take a moment to read my third profile / bio read it with two things in mind. BE CRITICAL. Critical in the sense of critical thinking while being both a sponge and panning for gold. This link is packed full of information regarding critical thinking and decision making from a controversial, but prevalent market. Powerful information with a purpose!

I will be writing a future hub on the profile below and the thought process behind as time allows, and time is a Nemesis of mine now-a-days.

Now, I ask you to help me help you, with writing that hub. If you have an extra moment answer the five anonymous survey questions. Thank you for your time with that small contribution, which will answer your questions and not what I think you want.

Interesting! You have one of the most unusual and thought-provoking profiles I've ever read. Loved your list of favorite books and saw a few of my own favorites there as well. Kudos to be quite unconventional and entertaining!

Thanks for stopping by Donna. I appreciate your comments and am happy you found some enjoyment. I hope to show the complete 3rd profile to explaing my thoughts behind it regarding marketing. But, since my nemesis is 'time' I will be putting it on the back burner so to speak for now.
